Raw Milk

Filling a new sketchbook that my gr8 pal gave me for secret santa!!
I went on a holiday trip to the British Museum and drew the Parthenon one day, and watched a great documentary about the Clash which aired on New Years day about 1977 and their doomed generation and London punk it was all v cool //
I have been wandering around doing chores for my family and drawing and thinking about going back to school, listening to The Clash, Parquet Courts, FKA Twigs <33, and early Cure albums. And met Ferris from the Horrors band outside Shepherds in prim hill and he was all in black and weird and mysterious //
I drew the last one on a magic lone walk in Regents Park as the sun set over London n it was great, I listened to some Bob Dylan and forgot it was Christmas Eve //

Lazy Oaf space oddity dress 10/10 despite the fact it rips everytime i wear it lol

A humorous Stevie Smith poem
Drugs made Pauline vague.
She sat one day at the breakfast table
Fingering in a baffled way
The fronds of the maidenhair plant.

Was it the salt you were looking for dear?
said Dulcie, exchanging a glance with the Brigadier.

Chuff chuff Pauline what's the matter?
Said the Brigadier to his wife
Who did not even notice
What a handsome couple they made.

have fun going back to school kids n get some sleep

THE DANCE

THEY DANCED UNTIL THE MOON WAS HIGH IN THE SKY AND SAID "WHO ARE THEY" AND NO ONE DRESSED AS THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO.

DIARABI//goat
I did some embroidery on my backpack while listening to Goat the other day
(a Swedish experimental band inspired by voodoo myths from their rural hometown, who I saw live a few weeks ago).

I painted Matisse's Dance I on the back of my art coat today and did lots of drawing. Then I listened to TS Eliot reading The Wasteland and watched The Boat That Rocked because isn't the soundtrack the most uplifting thing ever.

THOSE ARE PEARLS THAT WERE HIS EYES//

I went to Frieze art fair and Frieze Masters this week and let me tell you that Frieze Art Fair (ie mainly contemporary and very modern artists) made me so irritated because of the lack of technical skill and beauty in any of the art!!!!!!??
Some of it was actually quite interesting and some of it was slightly laughable, particularly due to the fact that one artist thought it would be a good idea to set up a stall and entice visitors to stand at a counter while we were read incantations from a vintage postcard, asked to burn some leaves and healing oil and then given champagne in a small plastic cup. where r the aesthetics
is this art????

I'm not saying it was all bad but Frieze Masters was like a total dream after~~ there was such a huge amount and so many gallery stalls that I don't think I actually saw everything but it was heaven. There were so many little Picasso and Hockney pencil drawings and Barbara Hepworth sculptures which are the best and one gallery had transformed into a mock-up of a French artist's studio and hung paintings on the walls of the bedroom and sitting room and it was like walking into a very cosy very cool house and I wish I lived there with Matisse and my other pals.

Twin Peaks is coming back, I'm on half term, Grayson Perry has a new documentary coming out and a show in London and Aphex Twin r alright ......

I WILL SHOW YOU SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM EITHER
YOUR SHADOW AT MORNING STRIDING BEHIND YOU
OR YOUR SHADOW AT EVENING RISING TO MEET YOU;
I WILL SHOW YOU FEAR IN A HANDFUL OF DUST.//
